Randwick Narrow Terrace House

This renovation transforms a narrow Randwick terrace into a light-filled, highly functional contemporary home. With space at a premium, every part of the floor plan was carefully considered to make the house feel more generous, open and connected. Full project details below

Natural light is drawn deep into the home through high-level glazing, an open-plan living arrangement and carefully positioned openings, while integrated storage and streamlined joinery make maximum use of the limited width. A restrained material palette and strong indoor–outdoor connection further enhance the sense of space.

The result demonstrates what can be achieved on even a very narrow terrace site: more light, better flow and considerably more usable living space without needing a large footprint.
